
A 29-year-old Green Ridge man facing multiple felony charges following the execution of several search warrants last year has a court proceeding set for later this month.
According to a report from the Sedalia Police Department, on April 16, officers conducted a traffic stop of a suspect related to an ongoing drug investigation, and Samuel David Woolery II was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Investigators with the Sedalia Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, patrol officers and Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies served five search warrants at residences in Sedalia and Green Ridge, two storage units in Sedalia and the suspect’s vehicle nearly simultaneously.
Wollery was arraigned and pleaded not guilty on July 20 to a Class B Felony for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance within 2,000 Feet of a School or College; a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; and an Unclassified Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Woolery posted $125,000 surety bond on April 21.
A Motion Hearing in this case is scheduled for 9 a.m., Friday, April 23, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
