One man has been sentenced to jail time and the other remains in custody facing drug charges after the execution of a narcotics search warrant at a residence in July.

According to the East Central Drug Task Force, on July 15, officers located three plastic bags containing a crystal substance (one of which field tested positive for methamphetamine); another small bag with a small amount of a crystal substance; under 35 grams of marijuana; and a digital scale in the home.

Sean Michael Griffin and Michael Randall Doyle each has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

On February 23, Doyle pleaded guilty as charged and was sentenced to 12 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Execution of sentence is suspended, and Doyle has been placed on 5-years probation.

Griffin waived Preliminary Hearing on March 23. His case has been bound over for arraignment at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, at Howard County Circuit Court.
