The list of road closures due to flooding is now less than a handful in the KMMO listening area. However, closures are still in three area counties.
According to the MODOT Traveler Information Map, only one roadway remains closed in Saline County. Highway 127, north of Sweet Springs at Salt Pond Creek, is closed. All of the other roadways that were closed earlier this week have been reopened to traffic.
In Cooper County, Route V, south of I-70 off of Highway 179, is still closed. All of the other roadways that were closed earlier in the week are now open.
In Johnson County, Highway 23, between Concordia and Knob Noster; and Route E, near Valley City, remain closed at the Blackwater River.
In Lafayette County, Routes D and FF at Sni-A-Bar Creek have been opened to traffic. And there is no longer a delay on Highway 224 west of Lexington.
Route O at Muddy Creek north of Beaman in Pettis County has been reopened to traffic.
