Local maintenance crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation began a culvert replacement on Route U west of Hale in Carroll County on Wednesday, March 24.

Crews will once again be closing the road between County Roads 221 and 231 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 25, in order to complete the replacement. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
