Saline County Auditor Karlin Breshears was at the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, March 25, and said the county’s software provider suffered a breach, and some of the county’s offices have been affected since Tuesday, March 16.

Breshears says the shutdown has put the county behind.

Breshears explained what has been affected in the courthouse.

It was estimated this company, which has been in business for more than 20 years, serves 11 to 15 counties in Missouri and several counties in Kansas and other states. It also serves municipalities and school districts.
