A Sedalia resident was injured in a two vehicle crash on Thursday in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the northbound vehicle driven by 58-year-old Charles Heaper, of Sedalia was rear ended by the vehicle driven by 20-year-old Jeriah Kropf, of Marshall. After impact, Kropf’s vehicle traveled off the highway into the median. Heaper’s vehicle came to a stop on the shoulder of the highway.

Heaper was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. Thursday on Highway 65, south of Bothwell Park Road.
