The two Marshall Optimist Clubs held the local Optimist Oratory contests last week at Marshall High School.

The Mid-Day Optimist Club results were:

First Place- Kollin Huse;

Second Place- Connor Grossenburg;

Third Place- Holly Huston; and

Fourth Place- Bailey Kueker.

The Marshall Optimist Club results were:

First Place- Andi Gooden;

Second Place- Katherine Diaz;

Third Place- Blair Donnell; and

Fourth Place- Lily Hunter.

The top two in each group now advance to the next competition in April.
