Two arrests were made during an incident on Friday, March 26, in Pettis County.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, at approximately 7 p.m., patrol officers attempted to make contact with a male subject outside a residence at 611 South Missouri Avenue after recognizing him to have an active arrest warrant. At the time of contact, the male subject fled into the residence and barricaded himself against the door to prevent officers from making entry.

A short time later, the male subject was observed running from the residence after jumping from a second story window. Officers gave chase, and the male subject was taken into custody without further incident a short distance away.

A search incident to arrest confirmed the identity of the male as 36-year-old Brandon D. Rollett, who also allegedly was found to be in possession of an amount of methamphetamine consistent with him distributing the substance. Additional evidence to support illegal drug distribution also was located in Rollett’s possession.

The investigation further revealed 29-year-old Jessica Henderson with active warrants was hiding inside the residence.

Both subjects were transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. Sedalia officers were assisted on scene by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office.

Charges sought by authorities include Possession With Intent To Distribute A Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest For A Felony for Rollett; and Resisting Arrest For A Felony and Parole Violation for Henderson. Rollett also had three warrants for his arrest from Pettis County and one from Henry County, while there were two warrants, as well as a parole violation- with no bond- for Henderson’s arrest from Pettis County.
