City of Sedalia contractors will continue working to make improvements to the City’s water distribution system next week. Several roadways will be affected by the installation of water mains and service lines throughout the week.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 5, West Third Street, at it’s intersection with South Park Avenue will be closed and will re-open at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 6.

Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, the intersection of East Fourth Street and South Engineer Avenue will be restricted to one lane of traffic.

From 7 a.m. Tuesday, April 6 through 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, the intersection at West Third Street and South Stewart Avenue will be closed.

Also on Tuesday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., traffic will be reduced to one lane between at the intersection of East Fifth Street and South Engineer Avenue.

Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the intersection of East Fifth Street and South Summit Avenue will be closed.

And on Thursday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., the intersection of East Fourth Street and South Summit Avenue will be closed to all traffic.
