Arlene Lorena (Ivy) Welliver, 63, of Boonville died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at University Hospital in Columbia.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Howard Funeral Home in Boonville. Arlene would like everyone attending to please wear casual and comfy clothes. Private family services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Burial will be at Clarks Chapel Cemetery.

Arlene Lorena Welliver was born April 23, 1957 the daughter of Arthur and Lorena (Potthast) Ivy. She graduated from New Franklin High School in 1976. Arlene married the love of her life Bobby Welliver on May 20, 1977 at the United Church of Christ in New Franklin where she was a lifelong member. Arlene loved flowers; she would always be working in the flower beds. She loved to go to garage sales or thrift stores, she especially loved to look at all the purses. Arlene’s favorite time was the time she was able to spend with her grandkids, she was the best Nana. She could make friends with anyone and never met a stranger. Arlene was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lorena Ivy, brother Vernon Ivy, and sister Louella Ivy Mann. She is survived by her husband Bobby Welliver of Boonville, son Robb (Jandera) Welliver of Sedalia, daughter Amanda Welliver of Columbia, brothers Aubrey (Vicki) Ivy of New Franklin, and Ardell (Monica) Ivy of New Franklin, brother-in-law Bob Mann of Warsaw, sister-in-law Bonnie Ivy of New Franklin, grandchildren Carson, Addicuss, Emmalyah, and Zayde Welliver, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
