City of Sedalia contractors continue working to make improvements to the City’s water distribution system. Several are streets will be affected by the installation of water mains and service lines during the next week.

Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, April 12, through 5 p.m., April 16, West 16th Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic from its intersection with South Beacon Avenue to South Warren Avenue

South Warren Avenue at its’ intersection with West 18th Street will be closed periodically beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday April 13th and continuing through 5 p.m. Friday, April 16th.

Also on Tuesday, East 3rd Street at its intersection with South Stewart Avenue will be closed to all traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, East 3rd Street will be closed to all traffic at its’ intersection with South Quincy Avenue.

Travelers in these areas are encouraged to plan for use of alternate routes during this period to avoid delays.
