
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is no longer seeking information on the whereabouts of a white male subject whom was reported to have fled the scene of a vehicle crash on foot around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 8.
According to new information provided by the sheriff’s office, it was discovered the female suspect in the accident was the driver and the only party involved. Once identified, she was arrested and taken into custody on active warrants.
In the original release from the sheriff’s office, the female in the vehicle stated the man who fled the scene was Jason Hall, and described him as a 6-foot tall to 6-1 man with a thin build, clean shaven and a buzzed hair cut, who is in his mid 40s, and was last seen wearing blue jeans with a blue Lakers jersey.
The vehicle crash was on Route E at County Road 211, and Hall reportedly ran northbound through the adjacent field.
Authorities are seeking charges against the woman, whose name has not been released.
