Several roadways are closed due to flooding in the KMMO listening area.

According to MoDOT, the closures are in Saline, Chariton, Cooper, Howard, Pettis and Johnson Counties.

In Saline County, Highway 127 north of Sweet Springs at Salt Pond Creek and the outer road south of I-70 just west of Sweet Springs are closed.

In Chariton County, Route E near Rothville at Yellow Creek; Route D east of Mike; and Route NN south of Salisbury are closed.

In Cooper County, Route HH at the Lamine River northwest of Pilot Grove and Route N at Clear Creek southwest of Pilot Grove are closed.

In Howard County, closures are Route H at Salt Fork northeast of Fayette and Route Z just west of New Franklin off of Highway 87.

In Pettis County, Route O is closed at Shaver Creek south of Beaman and at Muddy Creek north of Beaman.

In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster and Route E near Valley City are closed at the Blackwater River.

In each case, drivers should seek an alternate route.
