
Nora Fay Canida, 87, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, April 12, 2021 at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Cemetery near Russ, MO. Memorials are suggested to Saline Animal League and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com
Born June 15, 1933 in Laclede County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Fred T. Randles and Ada Edwards Randles. On June 2, 1963 she married Julius E. “Buddy” Canida who preceded her in death on December 25, 2011. She lived in Saline County most of her life after she left Laclede County. Nora was a hard worker her entire life and was always caring for others. Outside of the home, she worked at various businesses through the years to help provide for her family. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church at Marshall Junction.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Ruth Ann Howell; one brother, John Randles; one sister, Doris Griffin; and a special nephew, James Griffin.
