For allegedly tampering with a GPS monitoring device on October 24, 2020, a 34-year-old Cameron woman has been senteced to spend time in jail.

A bail bondsman said she was notified that Samantha Plymell had cut off her GPS monitor and allegedly left the device at a truck stop in Lathrop.

Plymell pleaded guilty on April 5 to a Class D Felony for Tampering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.

The court ordered Plymell to serve five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
