
Pettis County medical personnel have now vaccinated approximately 25.1 percent of the county’s population with at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the state’s website, 10,636 Pettis County residents have received one dose and 7,472 have completed the two-dose series, which equates to approximately 17.6 percent of the population being fully vaccinated.
As of April 9, all Missourians over the age of 16 are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to minutes from the Pettis County COVID-19 Task Force meeting on Monday, April 12, the Pettis County Health Center is scheduled to host a walk-in vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14. There will be second doses available for both Pfizer and Moderna for those who were not able to keep their second-dose appointment. First doses also will be available.
