The number of roadways closed due to flooding in the KMMO listening area was in double digits a few days ago, but it now has decreased to less than a handful.
According to MODOT, closures remain only in Saline and Johnson Counties.
In Saline County, Highway 127 north of Sweet Springs at Salt Pond Creek and the outer road south of I-70 just west of Sweet Springs are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster is closed.
In each case, drivers should seek an alternate route.
All of the other roadways that were closed are now open to traffic.
