Two area residents are facing felony charges following the execution of a narcotics search warrant.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. on April 12, members of the Lafayette County Drug Task Force and Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence within Lake Lafayette in Odessa, as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

As a result of the search, authorities seized approximately 93 grams of methamphetamine; approximately 3 grams of marijuana; three sets of digital scales with crystal residue, which tested positive for methamphetamine; several used syringes, numerous broken glass smoking pipes containing methamphetamine residue; a .22 caliber gun and ammo; two glass smoking pipes containing marijuana residue and one glass pipe containing methamphetamine residue and several zip lock baggies with residue.

Both occupants of the residence were taken into custody.

According to court documents, 53-year-old William J. Neeley Jr. of Greenwood is with a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and two drug related misdemeanors. Bond is set at $150,000 cash or surety.

Neeley was formally arraigned and pleaded not guilty as charged, during his initial appearance on April 14. His next court appearance is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 21 at Lafayette County Circuit Court.

Also charged was 38-year-old Sarah K. White of Odessa. White is charged with a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree and two drug related misdemeanors. Bond for White is set at $75,000 cash or surety.

White was formally arraigned and pleaded not guilty to these charges on April 14. Here next court appearance is also scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 21 at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
