During the meeting of the Slater City Council on Tuesday, April 20, City Administrator Gene Griffith reminded residents that they need to control their pets when the pets are outside.

Griffith said there were some complaints filed by residents.

In other news, Griffith said the city received a very good Consumer Confidence Water Report (CCR) for water quality.

In addition, Griffith said the city received a good annual audit report from Gerding, Korte & Chitwood.

Griffith also announced the citywide garage sale will be held Saturday, May 1.
