
A 28-year-old Lexington man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a felony charge for resisting arrest after a traffic stop on February 22, in Lafayette County.
On April 21, Jeremy L. Dorsey withdrew his not guilty plea and pleaded guilty to a Class D Felony for Assault in the Third Degree and a resisting misdemeanor. On the Felony Assault charge, Dorsey was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections with execution of his sentence suspended. He was placed on five years probation. On the misdemeanor for Resisting Arrest, Dorsey was sentenced to 30-days in Lafayette County Jail with credit for time served.
