Multiple drug-related items allegedly were found in a residence in Howard County on March 1, and a 31-year-old Fayette man is facing a couple of felony charges.

Noel Parkins was taken into custody following the execution of a firearms search warrant at a residence on North Howard Street. During the search, authorities claim they say loose marijuana in a metal tray, in plain view and three plastic baggie containing marijuana. Authorities also say they found drug paraphernalia in the bedroom of a 15-year-old juvenile.

Parkins waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty on April 12 to a felony for delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid to a person less than 17-years-old and Two Years Younger; and a felony for endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs in the first degree. Bond is set at $50,000 cash only.

His next court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 27 at Howard County Circuit Court.
