Area authorities are urging residents to be on the lookout for a wanted man.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, deputies reported to the 700 block of SE 250 (Coal area) investigating a shooting incident, and Kevin Lee Thornburg fled the scene heading west on SE 250 in a black or dark blue pickup truck (possibly an extended cab Chevrolet) with the reported shotgun still in his possession on Saturday, April 24.

Thornburg is currently wanted for questioning regarding his involvement in which the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm, believed by means of a shotgun.

Thornburg is described as a 32-year-old white male, who is 6-foot tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Thornburg should be considered armed and dangerous, and you should utilize extreme caution if you should come into contact with him.
