
More than a quarter of Pettis County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Pettis County Health Center, approximately 27.2 percent of the population has been vaccinated with at least one dose.
According to the state’s website, 11,515 Pettis County residents have received one dose and 9,437 have completed the two-dose series- which means approximately 22.3 percent of the population is fully vaccinated.
But health officials say Pettis County is falling behind the state rate of 36.7 percent with at least one dose and 26.1 percent fully vaccinated.
The Pettis County Health Center will start having regular walk-in clinics from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11. First doses will be available as well as second doses for those unable to make their second-dose appointment.
