A 37-year-old Sedalia man facing multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually abusing three children in the past few years has had his case continued.

During separate interviews with a child-safe investigator on May 21, the children described in explicit detail the acts by John Wayne Archambault, who used to live with them.

The events described had happened in the past as the children do not live at the same home where the incidents took place. Investigators found information that revealed Archambault lived at the same address as the children from 2015-18.

During an interview with Archambault, acknowledged living at the residence while the three children were there but denied the accusations.

Archambault is charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree and a misdemeanor for furnishing pornographic material or attempt to a minor.

Archambault waived his formal arraignment on July 20 and entered a plea of not guilty. His next court proceeding is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 3 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
