Hannah Rice, of the Brunswick FFA Chapter, and Serena Sartin, of the Knob Noster FFA Chapter, placed second in the Division II prepared public speaking leadership development event at the 93rd Missouri FFA Convention. Rice’s FFA advisor is Kendra Krapfl. Sartin’s FFA advisors are Macae McKinley.

Paige Keith of the Knob Noster FFA Chapter placed sixth  in the advanced prepared public speaking leadership development event at the 93rd Missouri FFA Convention. Keith’s FFA advisor is Macae McKinley.Sixteen students from six districts were selected to compete at the state level.

The Boonville FFA Chapter placed third FFA agricultural issues forum leadership development event. Boonville team members are Kendall Jones, Adam Neckerman, Katelyn Smith, Carter Taylor and Josie Widel. The Boonville FFA advisors are Doug Henke and Deanna Thies.

The Concordia FFA Chapter placed sixth in  the FFA agricultural issues forum leadership development event. Concordia team members are Tristen Arnold, Breanna Elling, Chris Estes, Ian Isdell, Gwyneth Oliveros and Kelsie Rehkop. Concordia advisor is Amanda Reid.

Teams in the agricultural issues forum LDE create a presentation focused on an important agricultural issue faced by their community. Team members give their presentation at least five times to community organizations before competing in the event.
