The Missouri FFA Association awarded several more area chapters a Gold Emblem, a Top Chapter Award, at the Missouri FFA Convention over the weekend at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia over the weekend.

The Carrollton Area Career Center FFA Chapter placed 15th out of 351 chapters.

The Marshall FFA Chapter was 19th; the Brunswick FFA Chapter was 29th; the Santa Fe FFA Chapter placed 31st; Keytesville was 33rd; adn the Glasgow FFA Chapter wound up 36th.

Only 10 percent of state chapters receive a top chapter designation each year.

The top chapters compete for the National FFA Chapter Award. Winners will be announced this fall at the 94th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.
