A 28-year-old Kansas City man is facing a felony charge for allegedly stealing a vehicle in Carroll County.

A report from the Carrollton Police Department states that officers responded to the report of a vehicle being stolen sometime between 5 p.m. on January 24, and 5 a.m. on January 25. After viewing surveillance footage, the suspect was identified as William Sapp.

The vehicle was located on January 29 at a Quik Trip in Independence, and Sapp was the driver.
