With the execution of a new health order issued by DHSS Acting Director Robert Knodell, which was effective April 30, Bothwell Regional Health Center has begun vaccinating non-Missouri residents ages 16 and older. This includes complete COVID-19 vaccination series, as well as second doses of COVID-19 vaccines when an individual’s first dose was administered out of state.
According to minutes from the Pettis County COVID-19 Task Force meeting this week, Bothwell is hosting a second-dose clinic from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 7, at the Bothwell Healing Arts Center for the Pfizer vaccine. Although it is for second doses, officials say others may walk in and get their first dose of the vaccine, as well.
A one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, May 7, at the Bothwell Healing Arts Center, as well.
The Healing Arts Center is located at 3700 West 10th Street in Sedalia.
Those interested in receiving the vaccine may walk in or call (660) 829-8822 to make an appointment. You can visit <http://brhc.org/services/covid-19_vaccine_information.aspx> for the schedule of all upcoming vaccine clinics.
