A Boonville man is facing multiple felonies, including attempted murder after an incident in January.

On January 3, officers with the Boonville Police Department were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 1300 block of Main Street.

The suspect, 28-year-old Kalynn Dean Hendren is alleged to have pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill her. While fighting over the gun, Hendren allegedly fired the gun.

Hendren waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty, on March 22, to Class B Felonies for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Domestic Assault in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond is set at $500,000 cash or surety.

A Hearing in this case is scheduled for 9 a.m., Monday, May 10 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
