A 34-year-old New Jersey has changed his plea in regards to a drug related in Cooper County.

David Cheng was arrested on August 12 after authorities located 90-pounds of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop on I-70.

Cheng was originally facing a felony for drug trafficking in the second degree and a driving related misdemeanor. On May 5, the State amended the complaint and Cheng is charged with a felony for delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid.

Cheng pleaded guilty to the amended charge on May 5 and is scheduled for sentencing at 9 a.m. Friday, July 16 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
