The “Wonder Dog Day” event- a celebration of Jim The Wonder Dog in Marshall- had to be canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the event is back this year, and is scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 15.

Larry Arrowood with “Friends of Jim” explains some of the events that are scheduled.

Arrowood says there also will be an activity for smaller children.

Arrowood adds that there also will be a 10-percent discount on Jim The Wonder Dog merchandise from the Jim The Wonder Dog Museum on Saturday, as well.

All events are free and will be taking place in front of the Jim The Wonder Dog Memorial Garden just off the northwest corner of the square. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the events scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
