According to Cooper County Sheriff Chris Class, on Thursday, May 13, members of the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office, Boonville Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and East Central Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at an address on Poertner Street in Boonville.

Large quantities of marijuana, THC wax and THC vape cartridges were seized, along with U.S. currency and a firearm.  The suspect was taken into custody pending formal charges.

In other news, on Friday, May 14, a warrant was issued and served to John Baldwin, of Boonville. The warrant is charging Baldwin with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Subsection 11-Possess Weapon and a Felony Controlled Substance, and Keeping or Maintaining A Public Nuisance.  Baldwin’s bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
