A 54-year-old Sedalia man had to be flown from the scene of a rollover all-terrain vehicle crash in Benton County on Sunday, May 23.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound ATV, driven by Ricky Bentley, struck a deer, overturned and traveled off the right side of the roadway.

Bentley was flown by Life Flight helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.

The crash happened at 5:20 p.m. on Missouri Highway 52 at Tobaben Road.
