The City of Odessa received federal funding administered through the CARES Act to help provide relief and recovery assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lafayette County Emergency Management Agency says the Odessa Board of Aldermen has allocated $50,000 of these funds to provide utility assistance to Odessa Municipal Utility customers impacted by COVID-19.

To apply for assistance, contact the Odessa Community Service Center at 212 South 2nd Street or via phone at (816) 230-7558. It is open 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
