City of Sedalia contractors will continue working to make improvements to the City’s water distribution system next week.

During the period Tuesday, June 1, 2021 through Tuesday, June 8, 2021, S. Grand Ave. between W. 16th St. and W. 13th St. will be restricted to a single lane of traffic as water valves are replaced and service lines are tied in to the new water main in the area. The lane restriction will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. Plates will be installed to allow both lanes of traffic to be open after 5:00 p.m. each day.

Travelers in this area are encouraged to plan for use of alternate routes during this period to avoid delays.
