The public is invited to attend an event in Higginsville to honor the men and women who have died while on duty with the US military.

The Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville will be holding its annual Memorial Day Program beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday. If you plan on attending, you are asked to bring lawn chairs, and an umbrella (for shade from the sun or rain).
