
James Robert “Rob” Dysart, age 81, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Graveside services, with military rites, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation.

Born October 10, 1939 in Marshall, he was the son of the late James B. Dysart and Nella Mae Barron Dysart. Rob lived in Saline County most of his life and was a 1957 graduate of Marshall High School. On December 13, 1969 he married Vivian Hovis who survives of the home. Rob’s career was spent as a self-employed contractor. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, Vivian, he is survived by one daughter, Robin K. Adolphs (Brian) of rural Marshall; one granddaughter, Briana Adolphs; one sister, Judy Vest of Pleasant Hill; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ed Dysart.
