The Saline County Sheriff’s Department currently is investigating two reported incidents.

According to one report, three vehicles were vandalized at a residence in the 200 block of North Linn Street in Malta Bend. All four tires on a 2014 Fiat, a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup and a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta were slashed by using a knife. The total damage was estimated at $2,400. The incidents happened on May 24 and were reported on May 25.

Another report says the front passenger door window was busted out of a 2005 Ford Station Wagon at a residence in the 500 block of Rich Street in Slater. The incident was reported on May 26.
