 At approximately 10:11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, Cooper County Deputies were called to assist the Pilot Grove Police Department with an armed robbery at Alliant Bank in Pilot Grove.

At least two sheriff’s office patrol cars and one police car responded to the scene.

According to the Cooper County Sheriff’s Department, upon officer arrival, it was determined that a subject entered the bank and displayed a firearm.

The FBI has released new information on the robbery suspect.

The man is described as a white male, approximately 6’1”, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a navy and white ball cap with an emblem on it, and a burgundy bill. He was wearing sunglasses and a light-colored face mask. He was wearing a burgundy button-up shirt and jacket, with a black hoodie underneath. He was wearing dark pants, dark-colored shoes, and gloves.

Officials say the suspect ran from the bank on foot headed in a northwest direction.

Suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of currency in a blue tote bag.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect is still at large.
