
A Marshall man is facing a felony charge following a traffic stop on November 7.
During a search of the vehicle, authorities found a clear plastic baggie containing a clear crystallized substance, which tested positive for methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle was also found to be in possession of a syringe and a bundle of money.
James Edward Brown is charged with a felony for delivery of a controlled substance; and drug- and driving-related misdemeanors. Brown posted $15,000 surety bond on November 10.
Brown waived his right to a Preliminary Hearing on June 9. His case has been bound over for arraignment at 10 a.m. Monday, June 28 at Saline County Circuit Court.
