
Loretta Lynne “Redd” Rennison, 66, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel, 226 S. Odell, Marshall, MO 65340 with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery near Shackleford. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Born December 9, 1954 in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Richard B. Summers and Ida Rose Adams Summers King. Redd lived in Saline County her entire life and was a 1972 graduate of Sweet Springs R-7 High School. Following graduation, she attended State Fair Community College and earned her bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri State University. On June 12, 1976 she married Norman F. Rennison who survives of the home. Redd was the physical education teacher at Sweet Springs R-7 for over 30 years, retiring in 2018. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sweet Springs.
In addition to her husband, Norman; she is survived by three daughters: Jennifer Milam (Justin) of Springfield, Shelley Rennison of Sweet Springs and Kimberly Rennison of Marshall; two grandchildren, Lexi and Ethan; three sisters: Elizabeth Elson of Miami, Janet Loges of Sweet Springs and Rose Mary Crosswhite of Houstonia; three brothers: John Summers of Lake Ozark, Mark Summers of Concordia and David Summers of Cameron; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Frances Summers, in infancy, and Susan Wissel.
