
David Michael “Mike” Williams, age 71, of Gilliam, MO, died Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Gilliam Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 18, at the funeral home.

Born December 18, 1949 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Archie M. Williams and Jewell Mae Breshears Waters. On March 9, 1988 he married Theresa M. Narron who survives of the home. Mike lived in Gilliam for over 30 years and retired as a draftsman from Coreslab Structures in Marshall. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
In addition to his wife, Theresa; he is survived by three children: Kimberly Kay Vandiver (Tom) of Miami, Adam Sterling Nichols (Laurel) of Gilliam and Amber Trapp (Joey) of Abingdon, IL; a daughter-in-law, Marion Williams of Gilliam; one sister, Carolyn Auer (Danny) of Marshall; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his dad, Earl Waters; one son, David Scott Williams; and one sister, Beverly Henderson.
