A sentencing hearing that was scheduled to be held last week for a 45-year-old Raytown woman charged with a drug-related felony was postponed.

According to a police report, during a traffic stop in Lafayette County on September 9, 2020, authorities searched the vehicle driven by Heather Graff and located numerous illegal drugs, including marijuana and methamphetamine.

As part of a plea deal, Graff changed her plea from not guilty to guilty to a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree on May 3. The state dismissed a possession charge.

On June 7, the sentencing hearing was postponed due to Graff’s attorney not being able to appear because of illness .

Graff is now scheduled to be sentenced at 3 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
