Some scheduled roadwork in Pettis County is scheduled to close down a portion of a street, including a bridge, for part of this week.

Officials in the city of Sedalia say Washington Avenue at East Main Street -including the Washington Avenue Bridge- is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, until 8 a.m. Thursday, June 17, to allow for a roadway repair needed after a water-main break.

Drivers will need to plan an alternate route to avoid delays.
