Some roadwork is scheduled to close a portion of a roadway in Chariton County for part of two days this week.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), Route D- from Highways 5 to 129- is scheduled to be closed for a seal coat project from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Thursday, June 17, through Friday, June 18.

Also, Highway 139 remains closed for a bridge-replacement project at the Grand River Overflow Bridge through early July. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
