A 31-year-old Slater woman who remains in custody charged with a felony in connection with the death of another Slater woman has a court proceeding scheduled for Monday, June 21.

Authorities arrested Deseray Heyer on February 3 after they were called to a Slater residence where 56-year-old Sharon Lamm was found deceased. Lamm had been reported missing since January 30.

Heyer pleaded not guilty on April 26 to a felony charge for abandonment of a corpse. Bond is set at $50,000. Heyer also is charged in a separate case with felony assault, with bond set at $10,000 cash only.

A Plea/Trial Setting hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Saline County Circuit Court.
