A 33-year-old Sedalia woman who is facing a drug-related felony charge after a traffic stop was conducted on January 27 in Pettis County, is due in court next week.

According to a Sedalia Police report, the officer says he uncovered eight individually-packaged bags of marijuana- weighing a total of approximately 224 grams- inside the vehicle.

Charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Jordan Danielle Rhodes posted $5,000 surety bond on February 25 and waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty on March 23.

Rhodes’ case has been bound over to the trial division, and her next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, June 21, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
