A portion of a rural route is scheduled to be closed for parts of two days this week in Chariton County.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), Route CC- from Highway 11 to Route E- is scheduled to be closed for a seal-coat project from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, June 21 and 22.

Also, Highway 139 also is closed for a bridge-replacement project at the Grand River Overflow Bridge through early July.

All work is weather permitting.
