The Carrollton Town Council discussed the possibility of having the county collect the city’s taxes during its meeting on Monday, June 21.

In other news, the Town Council approved a bid from Capital Paving for a milling and overlay project of certain city streets. Bell said the cost is a bit more than $319,000 for the selected streets. A start date for the work has not been determined.
