Area authorities are asking for help from the public in identifying a subject in a surveillance video.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, the video taken from surveillance cameras in Hunter’s Ridge at approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23.

Authorities say it is believed this individual may be involved in the thefts of autos on that night.

If anyone has information as to the identity of this person, you are urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (660) 827-0052 or report anonymously to the Crime Stopper TIPS hotline at (660) 827-TIPS (8477). The Case Number is 2021-00932.
